Fr. Matthew W. Guckin
Pastor
Father Guckin holds a Bachelor of Science in Logistics from Penn State University and a Master of Arts in Moral Theology from St. Charles Seminary. Outside of Church, one of Father’s great pleasures is following Penn State football.

Fr. Shane M. Flanagan
Parochial Vicar
Father Flanagan, ordained in May 2023, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and both a Master of Arts and a Master of Divinity in Theology from St. Charles Seminary. Outside of Church, Father Flanagan is a big Philly sports fan.

Deacon William J. Barrow
Permanent Deacon
Deacon William Barrow was ordained by Archbishop Nelson J. Perez in June 2022. He attended the University College in London and has a degree in electrical engineering. Deacon William and his wife, Sue, married in France and have eight children and one grandchild. Deacon William, who was born in Trinidad, currently works at Curtiss-Wright and loves to garden in his free time.

Deacon Charles D. Dern
Permanent Deacon
Deacon Charles Dern was ordained by Archbishop Nelson J. Perez in June 2025. He attended Drexel University in Philadelphia and has a degree in mechanical engineering. He also has a doctorate in moral theology from the Catholic University of America. Deacon Charles and his wife Geri have three children. He recently retired from ATS Scientific Products and is on the adjunct faculty of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary’s School of Theological Studies. He enjoys bicycling in his free time.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church is located in the heart of Doylestown Borough. Down the road from the restaurant district, our church is an essential piece of our historic town.
Our church's address is 235 East State Street Doylestown, PA 18901.
Our parish office is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The office is closed on major holidays. For more information, call us during business hours.
